Artist Statement
Since I was diagnosed with a chronic illness in my early 20s, my subject matter has been influenced by forms of nature, physical anatomy, and emotional states. My works often combine biological forms with graphic expressions of various emotions and physical senses through bold colors and organic shapes. Painting becomes a means to express my physical and emotional struggles.
